Light Therapy and Quantum Biology: What I Wish I Knew Sooner

People who follow me on my various social media platforms know that I am passionate about finding solutions for women who struggle with menopause and aging. I want them to be able to feel good again. As I entered perimenopause, I found myself in that fog of, “What is this?” and, “Where did I go?” It took some time, but the solutions I discovered are the ones I share with my followers every day.

One of those discoveries changed how I think about the body on a level I wasn’t expecting. I had spent years focused on nutrition, fasting, supplements, hormone support, all the things I write about and recommend. And those things matter. They still form the foundation of everything I teach. But there was a layer underneath all of that I had completely overlooked, and it had to do with light.

We Are Light-Driven Beings

Most of us think of light as something external. Sunshine, vitamin D, circadian rhythm. And those are all important. But what I started learning a few years ago is that light operates inside the body at the cellular level in ways that go far deeper than what we were taught in any biology class.

Every cell in your body emits light. These are called biophotons, and they’re part of how your cells communicate with each other. Your mitochondria, the energy producers inside every cell, are driven by light-based reactions. When those reactions slow down, everything downstream slows with them: your energy, your recovery, your immune response, your ability to repair tissue and regenerate. This is the foundation of what’s now called quantum biology, and it’s one of the most exciting areas of health science that most people have never heard of.

What Actually Happens After 40

Here’s what connected the dots for me. I already knew that stem cell production drops significantly after 40. By the time we reach 70, our bodies are producing a fraction of what they once did. Stem cells are responsible for rebuilding and repairing nearly every system in the body, so when production declines, everything starts to feel different. Skin loses its resilience. Recovery takes longer. Brain fog creeps in. Joints stiffen. Energy fades in ways that sleep and coffee can’t fix.

I also knew that peptides play a role in activating stem cell production, which is why peptide therapy has become such a hot topic in the wellness world. I tried peptide injections, IV therapies, expensive protocols. Some of them helped for a while, but they all came with the same requirements: appointments, high costs, ongoing maintenance. I was spending a lot of money and time for results that didn’t last.

What I didn’t understand until I started studying quantum biology is that the body already has the ability to produce its own peptides and activate its own stem cells, if the right signals are present at the cellular level. And those signals come from light frequencies.

The Missing Piece

When I first came across research on how specific light frequencies can stimulate peptide production inside the body, I was skeptical. I’ve been in natural health long enough to have a well-developed filter for anything that sounds too good to be true. But the science behind it kept pulling me in.

The concept is straightforward once you see it. Certain frequencies of infrared light, when reflected back into the body at specific wavelengths, can activate the production of peptides like GHK-Cu, which is one of the most well-studied peptides for tissue repair and regeneration. Those peptides then signal stem cells to activate. The body starts doing what it was always designed to do; it rebuilds, repairs, and regenerates. You’re not adding anything foreign. You’re giving the body a signal it already knows how to respond to.

This was the piece I had been missing. I had been trying to supplement my way to better cellular function when the real answer was about restoring the body’s own signaling system. Nutrition, fasting, and hormone balance create the conditions for healing. But light at the cellular level is what turns the engine on.

What I Found

After months of research, I started using the LifeWave X39 patches. These are not supplements. Nothing enters your body. The patches contain nano-crystals that reflect your own infrared light back into your cells at specific frequencies. Those frequencies activate peptide production, which activates stem cells.

You put a patch on for 12 hours, take it off for 12 hours, and let your body do what it knows how to do.

I want to be honest about this: I did not expect much. I have tried enough products and protocols in my career to be cautious about anything new. But what I experienced, and what I’ve been watching other women experience, has been hard to ignore. Better energy, faster recovery, clearer thinking, and a feeling that my body is actually responding again instead of just surviving.

I’m not saying this replaces good nutrition, fasting, hormone support, or any of the foundational practices I teach. It doesn’t. But for me, it filled in a gap that none of those things could reach on their own.

If You’re Curious

If this resonates with you, whether you’re deep in perimenopause, postmenopause, or just feeling like your body stopped cooperating somewhere along the way, I’d encourage you to look into this. I’ve written more about the patches specifically [here](link to existing patch blog post), and if you want to try them for yourself, you can grab the X39 patch through my link below.

Your body already knows how to heal. Sometimes it just needs the right signal to start.
